1. Membership Review 

Successful payment for membership will be subjected to review and approval by the Membership Committee. The Chamber reserves all rights to accept or reject any application. 

2. Rejection of Membership Application

If a membership application is not approved, the applicant will be notified in writing within 30 business days of submission. Any membership fees paid in advance will be fully refunded within 30 business days of the rejection notification. 

3. Refund Policy for Approved Members 

 Once a membership application has been approved and payment processed:

• Membership fees are non-refundable, including in the event of early cancellation by the member, suspension, or termination of membership. 
• No partial or prorated refunds will be given for any unused portion of the membership period. 
• Special exceptions may be made at the discretion of the Executive Committee in cases of administrative error, double payments, or extenuating circumstances (e.g., death or dissolution of the company). 
• Cancellation request needs to be submitted with 1 month notice period before end of subscription period.

4. Cancellation Policy 

Members may cancel their membership at any time by submitting written notice to membership.singcham@gmail.com with 1 month notice period. However, cancellation does not entitle the member to a refund, unless a special exception is granted (see Clause 3). 

5. Payment and Subscription  

By subscribing, user authorize Stripe, on behalf of Singapore Chamber of Commerce (Malaysia), to charge the recurring amount to my credit card account for each recurring period until user cancel his / her subscription.
